eSprinter Battery Care That Protects Your Range
Updated 2026-04-06
eSprinter range holds up best when the high-voltage battery is kept in a moderate state of charge, charged at appropriate rates, and thermally managed. Avoiding constant full charges and heavy heat, and servicing the thermal system, protects long-term capacity.
Charge habits
Keeping the pack in a moderate charge window for daily use, rather than always at 100 percent, slows capacity loss over the years.
Heat is the enemy
The HV thermal system protects the cells. A coolant leak or failing pump lets the pack run hot and lose range, so we service it proactively.
Diagnose range loss
If range drops suddenly, we test the pack, cells, and management system rather than assuming the battery is simply old.
