Getting Cold Air Back In Your Sprinter Before An Anaheim Summer

Weak Sprinter air conditioning is usually a slow refrigerant leak, a failing compressor, or a clogged cabin filter. Before an Anaheim summer we leak-test the system, check compressor and clutch operation, and recharge to spec so the cab actually cools.
Find the leak
Refrigerant does not get used up, so warm air means it leaked out. We test for the leak instead of just topping it off, which only lasts weeks.
Compressor and airflow
A worn compressor or a clogged cabin filter both cut cooling. We check clutch engagement, pressures, and airflow to find the weak link.
